A step away,
I would be able,
To see you everyday.

A feeling of gladness,
Then the world,
Wouldn't have so much sadness.

If you were only,
Here with me,
I could seriously show you,
How beautiful love can be.

If death was only,
A thing of the past,
Then my love for you,
Would not last.

If you could only,
Hear my prayers,
Then something could tell you,
I wish you were there.

If things were only,
As they used to be,
Then you would be here,
Be here with me.
