I LOST MY BEST FRIEND

The day you left me i lost my best friend.
The storm came that day.
I miss you, I never saw my life without you.
I always thought you would be here to see when I had my children.
I feel your eyes watching over me.
Wishing I could feel your touch or here your voice tell me everything is OK.
Wishing I could hug you and tell you I love you.
I feel like apart of my heart is gone forever.
Why did he have to take you home.
I wish you could walk through the door and all this would become a dream.
I need to wake up and see your face again.
I wish I could have been by your side.
Holding your hand when he called you home.
I feel empty knowing I can't see your beautiful face.
I look at pictures wishing I could go back to that moment and tell you I love you one more time.
As I sit here writing this I miss you even more.
My heart breaks every second of every day.
I lost my best friend that day you left me.
