Freedom

by Ben   Jan 6, 2006

How we look upon war
as a grevious mistake;
doth that mean the lives
so self sacrificingly lost
were also a grevious mistake?
Their contribution to the cause, a common error?
Their love for their country, a negative solution?

No matter your answers;
as one virtue you hold
so tightly in your ever wanting hands
that u cannot label a mistake,
the privalage the very mistakes, you call them, granted you with their loss.

Freedom, wrought by the hands of death and measured by lifes scales;
aye freedom, that is not mistake.
