The Look

by xDryTearsx   Jan 6, 2006

Every time you look my way
What is it that you see?
Someone lined with beauty
Couldn`t possibly be me

I look to my reflection
To guide my self-esteem
I only hope to hold the beauty
That makes reality a dream

They say that girl
Her beauty is beyond
With eyes so blue
And hair so blonde

All so stereotypical
Yet I once believed
That`s how you had to look
But `the look` was yet deceived

My eyes may be hazel
And my hair is brown
But no one is alike
Just take a look around

You can`t define me
By my eyes or hair
To tell me I don`t have `the look`
Just isn`t fair

They say that girl
She has it all
With her boobs so big
And her waist so small

I have curves
My breasts seem small
My butt looks big
And I`m far from tall

So I don`t have `the look`
But what person does
Nobody`s perfect
And nobody was

So when you find yourself
Looking in the mirror
I hope you see
Inner beauty much clearer.

A wonderful write, i for one see everyones inner beauty, and well its a far better way to view life. "Fit" is overused and over rated... inner beauty makes everyone perfect...

I love how you have conveyed it..

And keep holding that inner beauty!
