The Deadly Path Through Hell

by xEmmax   Jan 6, 2006

Jagged rocks litter the ground, tearing your fragile skin,
Voices scream a haunting cry from the deepest parts within,
Scaly hands, dull and grey, clasping to pull you down,
A ferocious river, red with blood, the living it battles to drown.

Ghostly children cackle and play, possession escapes their eyes,
Shadows flicker on the walls, where secrets dance with lies,
The flames of a fire lick the wood where bodies lie to burn,
Light is fading, now you're trapped, in the place of no return.

Come walk with me through the depths of hell, there is so much to see,
Take my hand, glide through this door, to which i hold the key,
Horror waves and Torture smiles as we journey on our way,
With the living dead, the dead are living in the place they are destined to stay.

Here women braid their tangled hair and sing songs of broken pain,
While Death swoops in, back and forth, on the kill again,
Ride her wings, make your escape, with just this secret to tell,
The journey you took when you chose to walk the deadly path through hell.

Extremely well written, I'm here on behalf of PainofOne and my work "Porcelain Asylum" to which I'm glad you enjoyed. I came to see the talent you put out and I'm glad I came. 5/5 I can visualise this with ease.
