Heaven and Hell

by Michael D Nalley   Jan 6, 2006

I have this feeling from deep within
What is to come has already been
Light has come to pay the cost
For the sins of paradise lost

A world between heaven and hell
Turned from the truth before it fell
Darkness came with no disguise
The fruit of the tree opened eyes

To see the nakedness of foolish pride
In a world where death can't hide
Nations of men have come and gone
Conflicts have arose from their dawn

Religions divided could not wait
To create the boundary of hate
Crucifying the One from above
Sent by the Father to bring love

The mosque the temple or the steeple
Cannot hide the hate of the people
Temples have been sold in an unholy sale
But the gates of hell shall not prevail

Alpha and omega beginning and end
Universal love we cannot comprehend
I have this feeling from deep within
What is to come has already been

WOW, that was probably the best I have read! I have been gone a while but Im am very happy when this is what I come back to!!
This poem, I cannot say too much as I will lose myself in the fanasty you created. Perfect flow and diction. Very ambigious in style, very word meaning something else. Thought provoking with so much visionary passion. Im off to read more of your work now, as you seemed to have been very busy!! Lucky me!!
