A Fallen Angel

by Shannon   Jan 6, 2006

Looking down into the eyes of an Angel.
I figure she is fallen,
the eyes of my mother, my Angel.

Learning of everything she hid,
But not out of shame.

Never wanting to show
the pain and the tears.
So she hid behind the scars.

Falling deeper and deeper
down, secluding herself form everyone.

Always in the house
wanting to be alone.
Staying out of sight,
yearning for a savor.

Wanting for things to be different.
But now things are.
Now she is walking the streets of gold,
being without the pain and tears,
lost of all difficulties.

We are searching for closure,
from our beautiful fallen Angel.
