Dreaming of your soul
Dreaming of your heart
Dreaming that the hate around
Will never tear us apart

Dreaming of the happiness
Dreaming of our smiles
Dreaming of the things you say
That drives me really wild

Then the dreams are over
And this is how I feel
I wish that all the dreams I dreamed
Will someday become real

Lying in my bed
Thinking of you and I
And all the things between us
That makes me want to cry

I wish the way you are
Is what I dream of you
But knowing deep inside
That my dreams will not come true

When I look at you
I see nothing but a lie
Because every time I dream of you
I dream of a perfect guy

But now I know the truth
And it's killing me to know
That the love that I once cherished
I would have to soon let go

Dreams could really hurt you
If you don't know what to do
When the dreams you always dream
Will not be coming true
