Christmas Season

by Laura   Jan 6, 2006

The Christmas feeling has hit the air
Now is the time to give if you have a little extra to spare
Everyone is joyous around this time of the year
Excitedly upbeat that the New Year will bring cheer

Decorations and lights shine bright under the night sky
As children anticipate the night they will get a visit from that jolly big guy
Christmas tunes will blare as we decorate the tree
A traditional activity that we always enjoy together as a family

Carolers going door-to-door singing to the jingling of their bells
Holidays are here when the sweet aroma from the kitchen carries to fill the house with inviting smells
Gathering to celebrate together with friends and family is a yearly Christmas Eve tradition
At this time of year we are always more kind hearted with our decisions

Falling snow on Christmas day paints the perfect picture
The day is filled with love and laughter for a splendid mixture
With a big diner followed by the sweetest deserts
Being in the presence of loved ones always comforts
