Like an eagle
Taking off for flight
It's like a shooting star
Soaring through the night.

It's like a tear that falls
And lands on the ground
It makes a splash
But you hear no sound.

It's like a baby crying
Then being lulled to sleep
It's like a dolphin jumping
Then diving down deep.

It's like a snow flake falling
Light and soft to the touch
It's like a child to a mother
Saying "I love you so much".

It's like singing in the shower
In hopes no one hears
It's like a young child crying
And a mother stopping the tears.

It's like painting a picture
Then waiting for it to dry
It's like making pictures with clouds
As they slowly drift by.

It's like a child laughing
On Christmas Day
