Beautiful Prey

by Animus   Jan 6, 2006

Dancing sunlight
falls upon a girl.
Her leaps are a beautiful sight,
shining like a pearl.
Swaying to and fro,
auburn hair flies wild behind.
Twisting around she dips low,
and falls in death.
Pierced through the heart
by a golden arrow.
For she was the hunted
killed by the hunter.
Beautiful Prey.

It started off so free and beautiful and while the beauty stayed until the end, it turned so sad.. it kinda shows how everything beautiful will one day come to an end..
