You say we waited too long
Too long to make something right
or correct something that\'s wrong.

Or too long
to save those that stay hidden
Open your eyes
open your heart to the forbidden

Pay attention
To the marks on their skin
Listen to their cries
Why cant you realize?

Theyre screaming out for help
Theyve been screaming for a while
Maybe if you wouldve realized
Some of them couldve smiled.

Shes screaming, hes screaming, Im screaming out for help
Shes been screaming, hes been screaming, Ive been screaming for a while
Maybe if you wouldve realized our teary eyes
She couldve, he couldve, I couldve smiled.

    I love how you used that line more than once, because it worked well with the poem. this is incredible, so I hope you continue to write!
