Single Grave

Never understanding the joys of love
Torn down thrown around like a broken dove

Having no acceptance in my life

Even in her heart she knew
That in their eyes; she was dirt under their shoes

I was pushed around broken & scorned

This fate she had tore her insides
Thrown around destined to die

Being alone is nothing new to me

Tears of sorrow kept her up
Late at night she'd scream and cut

My Blood poured destroying the mat

Looking in the mirror sensing the hurt
She felt the burn through the dirt

Breaking me down slowly

Locking away the emotions inside
Every night making her cry

Having no acceptance broke through me

Now alone in an empty field
An open grave; a tombstone build

The lightning strikes tearing my soul

Finding her dead with cheeks stained
Open wounds filled with pain

Now I lay here, in this Single Grave
