Worth it?

by Kyle Schulz   Jan 7, 2006

Oh, eternal bliss,
Seems it will not stop,
To be in love, to have a friend,
Is harvesting life's best crop,

Happiness abounding,
I could fly far away,
My emotions are crackling like electricity,
How this came, I cannot say,

You cannot describe love in language,
Words cannot fit into form,
It is the most precious prize in the world,
So great yet it is the norm,

However, things exist in balance,
Where there is good, there is bad,
Nothing is as horrible as heartbreak,
Nothing in life will make you as sad,

So is it worth it I ask,
To take the risk of love,
Your heart will either soar or shatter,
Like Humpty Dumpty or a dove.
