Sweet soothing music,
Floats across my mind,
A melody in perfect tune,
Another I have yet to find,

Music calms the savage beast,
And harmonizes the mind and heart,
Each piece its own melody,
Perfection in every part,

What is our fascination with music,
Why does it captivate us so,
Like a bird singing or ocean waves,
A rhythm, a beat in harmonious flow,
