Life of a Young Man

by Ike Dizzle   Jan 8, 2006

Once upon a time
In a small town
Lived a silent Young Man
Who always frowned
Everyday of his life
People made fun of him
And every time they did
His heart darken because of them
One day
As he was being disrespected
He did something
Something that was unexpected
Finally
He cracked
Attacking everything in his way
Destroying things back to back
As he started coming back to his senses
He did a bit of thinking
Apologizes to everyone he hurt
After he finally began speaking.

The story was okay, but you've had better ones. I didn't like the shorter lines, as they broke the flow of the piece, sorry.

4/5 mainly because the flow was disrupted many times, like at

    Everyday of his life
    People made fun of him
    And every time they did
His heart darken because of them

It kinda drew away from the point and you had to add that extra 3 beats in it to make it sound good. It should go together smoothly like when you wrote

    Once upon a time
    In a small town
    Lived a silent Young Man
    Who always frowned

    Besides that, good poem 4/5
