One opportunity to change someones life
Id make you happy
Take the weight off your shoulders
Id give you everything you wanted
Everything you ever dreamed
Or hoped for
If i could do something to change the world
Id make peace for everyone
And send the soldiers home
Give the homeless a place to stay
And take the bad and hate away
Or i could change anything at all
Id do anything for anyone just to make a difference in their life
Or bring a smile to ones face
If i could help you in any way
Id take all this pain a way
Just so you could stand tall with you're head held high
If i could do any of these things
God knows id try
But I'm just like the rest of you all
I hurt and felt the pain
And walked down that road before
Were all human
Only we can change ourselves
And only we the people
Can make a differences
But its just not that way
So we keep on trying
