Empty Spaces

by Michael D Nalley   Jan 8, 2006

Oh when we argue with the unkind
Tis easy to see the void of their mind
Advanced educated thought retarded
Compelled by the evil clearly regarded

Mind separated from the soul
Seeks a selfish unholy goal
Search instead for the Holy Grail
The light of truth shall prevail

Once I fell so far from Heaven's grace
Pseudo remedies to take its place
Cursing the Light with each breath
Longing for the serenity of death

Stricken with doubt and poison dart
There is but one cure for a broken heart
Love is the only entity that sets us free
From diseases of the soul eternally

Pride is the crime that waits at the gate
We may accept humility before it's to late
We can accept or reject heavenly laws
In the end we all die for a chosen cause
