Never Shall This Wall Fall.

by Poppy   Jan 8, 2006

A veil of lies covers my face,
You kiss my lips for a taste,
Hidden tears fall to nowhere,
You'll never see this wall fall.

I walk in darkness to my memories,
Never letting them leave my mind,
I'll never whisper to you the past,
I'll never tell you the truth, not till last.

You want to see me smile,
Laugh and joke,
But your sadness gives it all a key,
And lets it drown me.

I will not let this wall,
Crumble to this floor,
I won't let you in,
Can't let you see.

I am stronger,
And I will cope,
I am a warrior,
I shall not crumble.

My defences are strong,
These lies I need,
No truth will save me,
Nothing but blocking it will set me free.

Scratching below the surface,
Will only make me run,
So small am I,
So big is this.

No never shall I speak,
Never stop this lie,
Never look back,
Not telling you anything!
