It doesn't matter

It doesn't matter if today went good,
you still may have pain,
that will never go away,
no matter how happy you are,

you may still have the emptiness in your heart,
so if someone cuts,
or even commits suicide,

they may have a great life,
but one bad thing happened,
and their world fell apart,
and the pain from that,

will live on forever inside them,
and they want to forget but can't,
so it seems best to disappear,
thinking their problems will go away
