Alone

Alone with only darkness
sitting there
holding yourself
rocking back and forth
you know it will never be the same
you can pretend
but you know its a lie
you became one
a cutter
you lock yourself away
and look at your arms
disgusted
ashamed
you hate yourself for it
tears fill your eyes
as you know what you must do
punish yourself
you are forgiven
but still you are alone
