Solemn Dreams

by LadyPearl   Jan 8, 2006

Every night I lay awake
On my bed I keep on dreaming
Of the things that I could take
And the gifts that's so enchanting
Singing myself to sleep at times
wishing for love to come home
All my secrets are that of mine
In which I won't feel so alone

Wrapped in blankets of warming kisses
staring out at the midnight sky
In my ignorance I find my blisses
instead of this wanting to die
Filling my mind with my fantasies
a Great way for me to fly
It's now my chance to go in hiding
So to live in my lies

Always dreaming, always wishing
for something much better
Always searching, always reaching
yet each time I grow sadder
Cause When I reach the point of smiles
I just lose all the glories again
i'm living my life in these silent deniles
losing to insanity once again
