For Christmas I hear you were expecting nothing from me,
But let me just say that's not the way it's going to be.
I think you deserve just a few good rhymes,
Just to remember all the old times.
Remember that day when I was sitting at safeway,
Then all of a sudden you walked up and blew me away.
I had no idea you were going to be there,
You know there's tons of things we didn't get a chance to share.
I remember the day we drove to Gonzaga bay.
And as soon as you got outta the car we all heard you say,
"Wow, look at those waves."
And that's what I liked about those happy days.
So that's why I'm glad were friends again.
Let's just live in the present and forget what happened.
