The ones to blame

Empty promises, hollow lies
no one cares but eeryone cries
important memories are slowly fading
too many arguements end in debating
fighting wars with other lands
that no one really understands
they think they're protecting us, but they're not
watching planes crash and the innocent get shot
people do drug and commit suicide
people that are too young to die
people smoke and use cocaine
to try and help forget the pain
we keep trying to find a cure
but we all keep getting hurt
some of us try so hard to fail
losing depending on heads or tails
thinking of all the broken hearts
I'm seeing the world fall apart
we all live together in shame
but our hearts don't beat the same
losing love and losing time
the war is making us fall behind
as I'm yet again drenched in pain
I realize thet we are the ones to blame
