Forgive me,
I never understood,
Why your words bit into my soul,
Forgive me,
I never understood,
Why your words swallowed me whole.

Forgive me,
For being so blind,
Forgive me,
For not knowing what lie behind those eyes,
Such pure and insensitive lies.

Forgive me,
For always staying by your side,
Forgive me,
For needing you,
Forgive me,
For not knowing what you had to hide.

You had another girl,
Correction five,
So forgive me,
For falling right into your contrive.

When I found out,
I though a part of me was lost,
But one day i woke up from my trance,
I found out what we had was no romance.

So you can forgive me,
For doing everything right,
But thank me,
For walking away from you forever tonight.

    I am really moved after reading that. I understand completely how you feel and the way that this poem was written really made it clear the pain that you were feeling. I must say that you are very talented and that you should never stop writing especially when you have feelings like this. You never know what lonely, depressed, ready to run back to him, girl you can help. ;)!
