One homeward bound butterfly kiss

by hewholovesherthemost   Jan 9, 2006

Twas the dead of night when she found me,
her gorgeous yet broken smile lit up like a Christmas tree,
she dropped a line to let me know she likes what she sees,
over 5000 miles away how could we ever be?
Still she let me know she's definitely interested in meeting me.

We've got our minds set like granite,
like the wondrous clouds above our planet,
I would feel high as heaven with you and without you I can't stand it,
we'd make crazy love like randy little rabbits,
we'd turn tokens of expression into daily habits.

There is not a thing I would change about you,
I love you just the way you are,
I need you cuz we're not too far,
we've never met but yet I've felt your very kiss,
I've tasted your gorgeousness,
and I've ceased your loneliness,
we only have one hundred years to live, so this poem to you I give alongside with one homeward bound butterfly kiss.
