Encased in darkness
indulged in darkness
drowning in the night
those in my way
will die today
my urge to reach the light
i'm in the sky
they see me fly
their simple sacrifice
they'll never know
i'll never show
i won't give up the fight
my lowercase
my lower face
the people that surround
the other death
the other flesh
the life that i have found
-Robert Blakeley
PS. EVERYTHING in this poem is supposed to be lowercase. On purpose. (In fact, since I couldn't think of what to put next at one point I even made a note of my lowercase =P)
