Undiscovered Cure

by Felicia Tursi   Jan 10, 2006

I love as deep as my scars,
That are as cold as these bars.
To which keep me locked up inside,
A lonely girl who has died.
Save me from myself,
Before I hurt myself.
So stop my breathing,
Fix my needing.
Cut my throat,
Watch my body float.
Let it drift away in the sea,
Help me break free.
Better me then you,
Let go of everything you knew.
Cut my wrists in every way,
Tell me that you're heart will stay.
Just leave my body here to rot,
Make sure you don't get caught.
My soul fades away,
As my flash turns grey.
Watch as it decays,
It grows older every day.
Would you die with me?
Make me look, make me see.
For now I walk this Earth alone,
Soon you'll see what I have been shown.
You hide, you hurt, you cry,
You live, you love, you die.
I'll wait here until the day you die,
Where we can reunite in your eyes.
Of silver, black, and blue,
For my lonely soul is due.
So die here at my feet,
Life really wasn't so sweet.
So once again we can be together,
But we change as much as the weather.
All I know for sure,
You are my undiscovered cure.
