Flutter dies like butterflies

by Kirsty   Jan 10, 2006

And you can pass her gestures
While she leaves you waiting
Will you melt into the floor?
Tell me does she ask for more?
You may slip into her mattress
Your hands indulged in her
But are you sure that's what she ask for?
Seems she hasn't locked the door
While this moment goes high climaxed
Your thoughts remain of her
But her eyes are so deceiving
For her mind it keeps on leaving
Watch her move across the bedroom
With a weight upon her heart
She used to get these butterflies
In tonight her flutter dies
You could score it all tonight
As she tries to prove a point
The truth masked within her dream
Honest, could you make her scream?
You could ask her why she's crying?
But still you will never know
You're the one that gets to hold her tight
Keep her safe for me throughout the night
You will follow her down a pathway
One that we both made
You will crush the flowers in your stride
As you grip the sun down to your side
She can fake her feelings
Like I can fake a smile
Lets never talk about regrets
I'm the memory that the rain forgets
So you lick your lips and call her
And she'll slide out of her dress
You see she's started drinking
Do you know what your girl's been thinking?
I give her these butterflies
Now tonight her flutter dies
Do you know what your girl's been thinking?
