Are You?

by Lynda   Jan 10, 2006

What is the price I have to pay
For telling the truth to you?
Months of torment from my peers
But what can I say, it's true.

Days turn to months and then to years
My goodness how time does pass.
It's funny how love works ways on the heart
I see you and time stops in its tracks.

When I see you that's the way I feel
I can't help it, I feel that you're the one.
So go ahead and let your friends have a laugh
At my expense just for fun.

Personality is supposed to mean more that looks
Then why do guys ignore that?
So when any of the guys I know look my way
All they see is my fat.

What's the deal with guys these days
What happened to honest true love?
They could find that type of love with me
But what are they so d@mn afraid of?

Every attempt to gain your love
Only brings me failure by fate.
So as time passes I'll finally realize
You aren't the one, so I'll wait.
