Sarah

by Angel Of Music   Jan 10, 2006

Few know what it feels like,
To lose the one you love,
Like two peas in a pod,
She fit me like a glove,
We had so much in common we loved each other so,
Then one day we got the news,
Sarah had to go,
I would not let it happen,
I could not let her leave,
But she still left on that damned day,
Now all I do is greive,
I am in eternal mourning,
Pondering this question so,
Why would god separate two lovers?
The answer I shall never know,
But I know someday I'll find her there,
I'll hold her in my grasp,
I'll run my fingers through her hair,
And again I will ask,
Why did you take her a way,
To make us suffer so,
Over all these years my love for her,
Has grown more than you can know,
Over all these years my love for her,
Has grown more than you can tell,
All those years of suffering,
Was like a living hell,
Yet we'll live on together,
In our kingdom by the sea,
With so much love that the winged seraphs,
Will covet her and me,
If it was a matter of fate,
For god to make us part,
Then fate has just been trumped,
By a matter of the heart.
