To Neal, Love Rachel (for monologue)

by Catherine   Jan 11, 2006

Would you come over for dinner?
Please?

I thought I'd cook you dinner.

(When you get there I'll answer the door a few moments late and stand there in my barefeet, and I'll be wearing that black dress he adores so much and maybe one strap will slide down my shoulder, and he'll notice, and it'll be so perfect like before.)

I can't believe we're sitting here in this room and.... I want you to know that I'm sorry.
Because I AM sorry. (I cheated on him how could I do that he's so wonderful and I love him, I do but he'll never believe me because it happened and it wasn't worth it it wasn't and I want to take it back and I love him)

I am SO SORRY, Neal.
