Dear Dad...

Where were you when i needed you
Why weren't you there for me
How could you do this to me
You don't even love me

Where were you on my 6th birthday
I remember like it was yesterday
All i kept saying was
where is daddy,
daddy doesn't love me!

Dear dad if your reading this
I'm almost grown
I don't expect you to
know that I'm 17
about to graduate from high school
A straight a student,
not because of you
because my mom raised me

Dad how come you never called
How come you never came
to any one of my games
you love you other kids better
than me thats what everyone
is saying

Dad all i ever wanted
was to be loved
All i wanted was to be daddy's
little girl, to be your world
but i will never be,
I always wanted you to care for me
but it will never change
you'll never see

DO you even no me
That i like to play basketball,
hang out,my favorite color is blue,
that writing poems is what i love to do!!!!!!

Dad i have no more to say to you
but that one day I'll be successful
and my mom will never
have to worry about a thing....
