Every night this girl lays under a starless sky

He kissed her.
And it was as if the black sky shattered like glass
And the sky lit up with a thousand stars
Lighting up his face and hers.
He held her tight within his arms,
Let her tears vanish onto his chest
And he touched her skin
The scars were no longer there.
Now they both lay under a blanket of stars
No longer lonesome or lost
But embracing each other
