I don't know why I fell in love with him and probably never will. To me he was perfect, sure he had his flaws, doesn't everybody? I didn't care, I loved him.
Unfortunately he never knew I loved him, I don't even think he knew I cared- every "hello" and "how are you?" was truthfully meant. He left without warning and with him he took my heart and tore it into two. He never knew what he did to me and he still doesn't.
I thought I would get over him but I didn't and I haven't. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't leave the memory of him behind. Now there's a shadow in my heart of him. No man will ever meet his standards- he was perfect for me.
Nobody knew, they wouldn't have understood anyway.
