I've learnt to live without you
It's not something I can't do
Couldn't keep you off my mind
Now at least you're harder to find

A day passes and I feel nothing
There's no more pain in parting
A week passes smoothly for me
My heart as carefree as can be

A month is approaching soon
Still, there's nothing like gloom
When a year is past I wonder if
To someone else my heart I'll give

It's harder to fall in love nowadays
After we've gone our parting ways
Still I mustn't allow thoughts of you
I've told myself that we're through

Don't let me see your face again
Let us move on like falling rain
For your sight alone brings back the past
Don't want any of your thoughts to last

Don't try; my heart is set
Don't do anything; don't wish me back
Don't let anything remind me too
For I've learnt to live without you

    I can't put it in words, it 's like you wrote this poem for me (LOL)
    No really, it's exactly how I feel
    I'm over it, and whenever I think of it I can say to myself Hey it's over move on but I'm still wondering when I will really love someone again

    A mixture of sadness, sweetness, and something else I can't quite define. That's a very nice combination in a poem, and it works in this one so well.
