Life Is False

by Ashley   Jan 11, 2006

Words cannot describe this daunting pain I'm in
Life is like the ocean shore
Pretty as a dream or a fantasy

Things are not what they appear

The lovely horizon, the whispered gurgle of the oceans waves
The quiet breeze, blowing quietly through your hair

When you first form bonds with the loved ones around you
Including family and friends

Things are never what they seem

It all invites you to jump in and romp in its pleasure
That is, until you go to far
You all have fun, enjoy and love each others company
There is no wrong, but then your mind takes a turn

Many don't say what they mean

Though you know how to swim, it won't help you here
And just like that, you're drowning in the sea of life
You try to get help but they've all turned you down
But by the time they've finally figured it out

It's just too late for you
