ORANGE COMA

by Inge   Jan 11, 2006

I was a doll without a smile,
Life was orange, no one told me why.
If you had a sweet pill, I wouldn'tâ??t swallow
If you had a gun I wwouldn't??t shoot.
But when will you understand me
When will you give me your breast to feed me?
em-pa-thy
Give me what I need, em-pa-thy
In my world I was not lazy, in your world I was no good
What went wrong, she read before she got her first tooth
Do you know?
What went wrong, do you know now?
I had to be dead before I could live; you have to live to know youâ??re dead.
I gave you all the loyalty I could give, I was a slave to your directions, my body was alive, my soul rotted away,
I know that you have nightmares of how I used to be, I was a doll without a smile, but I was brave when anger was the key, in our orange street I was not happy, from our orange town I fled away, to find more orange on my way,
I swallowed my tears, and listened to my band, till you took that too,
It made me sick
But years flew by, and Franty sang about you, how you were lonely without a friend. Now the orange is fading, along with your power and my anger.
Now youâ??re just people, just not my kind of people but Iâ??ll try my best to show you my shades of black and red,
