You promised that you wouldn't cheat
You promised that you wouldn't lie
you promised me that you were mine

i believed what said
down to the last word
when i should have realized that you didn't mean any of it at all

now I'm the one with the broken heart
the broken heart that will never be repaired
because i never liked a person this much before

the line that you told me was cheesy and dumb
and what was even worse you did it over the computer

i was sitting here looking at the screen just thinking to myself what a goof of me to actually realize i could be with you

the strangest thing that happened was that earlier that day me and my best friend was talking about him breaking up with me

he asked to be my friend and i said what ever
i don't really care for him right now because all i wanna do is frown
as i write this crying trying to figure out what i did wrong

i guess it wasn't meant to be because if it was then i wouldn't be here in my room crying and wishing i wasn't here
