Secret crush

I wish I could just say it, I don't know how to explain.
It\'s bottled up inside me, and it's driving me insane.

I like you a lot, and how do I know if you feel the same?
How do I know if you really do like me, or if your just playing a game?

My heart has been broken to many time, and I don't want it to happen again.
So please tell me if you really care for me, before we even begin.

I think about you night and day, and I can't help it.
And trust me, this isn't really east for me to admit.

I wish I knew just what to do, to stop you from breaking my heart.
If you don't want to be with me, say so before it starts.

I fell really stupid reading this to you, not knowing what your gonna say.
It took a long time because I was afraid you would walk away.

I know you got a girl, and I know you care for her.
So am I just a one night thing, or are you not sure?

You say you care, but how do I know that it's not a lie?
I am sick and tired of these tears being shed from my eyes.

I get butterflied every time I talk to you.
And all I'm wondering now is if you care about me too.

I know that after I'm finished you probably won't talk to me no more.
And if that happens it will suck, because my heart will be really sore.

I started out thinking we were friends, but then something made me change my mind.
I don't know what it was, but it's probably because your really charming, gentle, and kind.

Well I feel really stupid now, so I'm gonna leave you be.
I just wanted to write this poem so maybe you would see.

I really do care about you Richard, and I would do anything to be with you.
I like you so much that anything you wanted i would do.

I wrote this poem for my crush Richard.
