~The Silence~

Sleeping Soundly The Night Before

You Were Polly Pacing the floor

The thoughts just rushing through my head

When they told me you were dead

No way, is what I thought

But you were gone believe it or not

Our tears fell like rain

Again and Again, please no more pain

"The Silence in black and white

The thought of you that lonesome night

1 year today, the pains still here

I cry for you a single tear"

After a while the tears slowly stopped

Slowly, and slow but we never forgot

Every now and then you'd cross our mind

But all the words were hard to find

Now today, has been a year

And all the pain comes back in tears

Trying to find the words to say

To remember you this painful day

"The Silence in black and white

The thought of you that lonesome night

1 year today, the pains still here

We love you Rachelle, We'll Keep you Near"
