Today

"Good morning baby,
Did you sleep ok?
Did you dream?
I'll call you later today."

"It's 6:50 baby,
Ya, I better go too.
Have a good day baby.
I love you too."

Time passes
Through the day.
I go to my classes
Come home & call to say.

"Hey baby,
How was your day?
Ya, I can come over.
I'll be on my way."

"Ok baby,
I'll see you in a little while.
About 5 minutes maybe."
I hang up and smile.

Later that night
I get into bed.
Done with the day's fight.
I call you remembering what you said.

I call: "Hey
I'm pretty tired.
Tomorrow's a new day.
Have a good sleep baby."

I open my eyes
To a new dawn,
Yawn,
& call to say.

"Good morning baby,
Did you sleep ok?
You had a dream?
Ok baby I'll call you later today.
