Broken into a thousand pieces
telling myself I'm free

I suffer from a disease called
"being me"

Finding the moon
hidden within the sun
haunted by the voice
visions that I didn't see
and cuts that were my choice.

Missing the piece to the puzzle
finding out that love does not exist
sitting under a glowing sunset
the first time being kissed.

Growing older every minute
wishing only for you
all the pain that I recieved,
the pain you put me through.

A girl that's anorexic
A girl that's way to fat
I've walked the darkest corners
and I've been through
all of that.

A boy who doesn't speak
a man without a wife
a small child loosing air
a girl who's lost her life.

A ballerina dances
a glass that shatters
yet, you don't hear
and still we don't remember
that one girl's final tear.

A smile that brightens
someone's day
a knife that ends the next
a baby forming somewhere else
teens egaging in unprotected sex.

A hunter killing animals
a vegitarian at war
neighbours fighting miserably
a girl lying dead
on her kitchen floor.

Trying drugs for
the very first time
an alcolholic man
a girl thats way to drunk to drive
crashing into a van.

Children raised by one parent
another child raised by two
a flower in the amazon
dripping from some dew.

An amputated arm
An amputated life
a teenage boy
who's lost it all
but found a butcher knife.

The sounding of a car horn
the singing of a child
a mother screaming

"Where's my daughter?!"

just another teen gone wild...

Sending a message to heaven
telling God to take me back
for what still hasn't been eated
will possibly be attacked.

Sending a message to heaven
just so he's informed on
who's killing who,
the neighbours that
shot themselves
and pain that creeps up on you.
