Empathy

I'd like to spend just one day
And see life in your shoes
To see the kind of husband
That you solemnly did choose

Make sure that he treats you right
And showers you with love
Wouldn't ever hurt you
An angel from high above

Check the work that you do daily
Be sure it's not too tough
I know that if I had your job
I'd have surely had enough

But most of all I'd like to feel
The love that's in your heart
I know that it is me you love
And we shall never part!
