Disconnected

Another old one I found

I sit here with tears streaming down my cheeks
Pleading with God to just let me die now

It really is the end this time.
No more sorrys,
No more fights,
No longer friends...

My vision is blurred,
I can't see through my tears,
And I'm falling over in pain because of my loss.

But this is nothing more than words
Nothing more than an attention seeking act
In hope to put the past to rest
And in hope to change the future

No response on the other end
I go back to my bed and again sit...
Letting the tears flow down my face and drip onto the bed

I fall over in pain,
And be sick all over the floor
Yet no one's there to even care.

In one last attempt to change the future
I slowly pick up the phone
But when I dial the number...there is no answer.

You've been disconnected.
