In the Night

And when night falls
The shadows cannot hide
The demons you keep in the day
Come out to tear you from sleep

You can only fight them for so long
They'll get you in the end
Those troubles you thought were behind you
Never really went away

People change but the past doesn't
The things you do never leave
You'll remember the feel of the knife in your hand
And the blood pouring from their veins

When morning comes, put on your mask
And go to face the day
The demons hide away again
But the night won't stay away forever.

    This is so good. I think I am becoming a bigger fan of the dark poems (GODD I AM EVIL) lol, anyways. I think that this is poem is really good and the only thing that could improve it would be making it longer, because I would love to read more.
