Always you were there
protecting me and guiding me
but then one day you were gone.
As I shed tears and isolated myself from others,
I felt heartache,sadness,loneliness,and even confusion.
But more than anything I felt betrayed,forgotten and abandoned.
Deprived of all happiness and joy
no meaning was left in life.
You had left me in my time of need
I was angry at you for so long
But now as I sit here by your grave,
and write this poem
I understand I was only angry at myself for never really understanding
what had really happened,
And that is now my only regret!
