My eyes tell a sad story
there rest a boy inside me
who if u look real closely
you would see
this boy is filled with rage
he wishes to be free
but instead he remains caged
nomatter how much i seem to grow
this boy remains inside me
attached to my soul
as long as the boy in me
continues to live with grief
as long as his heart remains torn
i would never have the strength
to carry on
there will always be
this boy in me
who hurts, so my eyes
