Glisening tears

by skye   Jan 14, 2006

A tear drop glisens
as it fall from my brown eyes
shaped like a rain drop
it contains so many lies

i cant control it
infact it controls me
all i want is to smile
but hurt is all you see

I'm crying for reasons i can not say
hurt and betrayal from the past
seems to haunt me
consuming my body so fast

my brown eyes used to be bright
my smile so big and whole
but now my face sits sunken
and I'm walking alone with a black soul

cant stand so much anger
its built up inside
wanting to run so far so quick
but instead my emotions i hide

scared someone else will be hurt by me
unable to support the pain with in me
there i would crumble
and again hated i will be

so tear drops shall glisen
as they fall
in the security of my own room
behind the pain fall walls
