Love Hurts

I still love you forever
though i don't know why
every time I'm around you
you seem to make me cry

you yell and you scream
and you slap me and punch
you kick me and hurt me
then make me get lunch

mum tells me you're not nice
my friends tell me beware
they cant seem to see
all the good things that are there

come to think of it now
Ive lost them now too
i see only anger and violence
shine through

but how can i leave when
you threaten me so?
and how can you hurt me?
you don't even know!

you don't know how i cry
at night in my bed
you don't hear all the horrible
things in my head

but still i stay here
and bear all your blows
i cant count the times
you've broken my nose

not just my nose but
i sit here and bear it
